Dr Rowena Mobbs is the Principal and Director of Harbour Neurology Group. She is an experienced neurologist with PhD and subspecialty interest in cognitive disorders, neuropsychiatric symptoms, and neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Lewy Body disease, Frontotemporal dementia and other types of dementia. She advocates for early and effective management in dementia.

Dr Mobbs see patients with headache disorders including migraine, tension headache, occipital neuralgia, ice-pick headache and cluster headache.

She has a PhD in spinal neurotrauma, and is one of Australia's leading experts on CTE, publishing an early case report in rugby league and leading the Concussion and CTE service at Macquarie University Hospital. She is the founder of Concussion Connect, a group therapy service for those with suspected CTE.

She is appointed Senior Lecturer, Department of Clinical Medicine at Macquarie University Hospital, and also sees patients at Mater Hospital.

Dr Alessandro (Alex) Fois received his medical degree from Oxford University and completed his postgraduate training in Cambridge (Addenbrooke’s Hospital) and Sydney (RPA, St Vincent’s Hospital and Westmead Hospital).

 

He is a Research Fellow at Westmead Hospital funded by a grant from the Brain Foundation and an NHMRC Postgraduate Scholarship. His research is focused on tremor, and he has authored several publications and book chapters on the subject of tremor and movement
disorders.

 

Alex is also a Clinical Lecturer with the University of Sydney.

Alex is passionate about extending the reach of neurological care in Australia and using the power of telehealth. His clinical interests include movement disorders (such as Parkinson’s disease, tremor, and dystonia), headache, the use of botulinum toxin for the treatment of neurological problems, and general neurology.
